further education, the majority time as a lecturer in Arboriculture at
Brooksby College. During recent years has passed the AA Technicians
Certificate at credit level and the RFS Diploma in Arboriculture, become

become a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters and a UK
registered and qualified expert witness.
Tree Life Training focuses on providing specialist training for
those candidates who are studying towards sitting for the ABC/AA
Technician's Certificate and the Royal Forestry Society's Professional
Diploma in Arboriculture.
In 2004 Andy Summerley joined the company from lecturing at Moulton
College, previous to that Andy spent many years at Kettering Borough
Council managing contract operations. Andy also holds the AA
Technicians Certificate and the RFS Professional Diploma in
Arboriculture.
Both are qualified teachers having spent 31 years between them
teaching practical and management level arboriculture.
In between lecturing across the country Tree Life operates a
consultancy service carrying out work for clients in relation to
development sites, mortgage reports, subsidence investigations, safety
inspections and tree surveys etc. The consultancy lends the credibility
to the teaching provision, in that we can do and teach it!
