The Tree & Environmental Academy was established in 2008 to provide a one-stop location for the education of students in Arboriculture. To achieve this we have established strong relationships with some of the leading Arboriculture Consultancy and training companies in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Our courses cater for the needs of all working in the Industry looking to up-skill or for new entrants from the Leaving Certificate Student to those wishing to enter Arboriculture as a new career choice. Our courses range from Chainsaw use, to Tree Felling, to writing complex Tree Survey reports. All our courses are under the auspices of an Internationally Certifying Authority and will provide the Student with a recognized certificate or qualification.

What is Arboriculture?

Arboriculture is the cultivation and management of trees within the landscape. This includes the study of how trees grow and respond to cultural practices and the environment, as well as application of cultural techniques such as selection, planting, care, surgery and removal.
